THK Introduces New Type KR15 Miniature Actuator

Schaumburg, IL (November 11, 2002) - The Type KR15 LM Guide Actuator compactly combines a miniature LM Guide and a miniature ballscrew in one block.

The actuator's use of four-row circular contact results in high rigidity and low fluctuation of rolling resistance under a load. The stainless steel, cold drawn outer rail construction improves rigidity and moment of inertia.

Designed for accuracy, The Type KR15 is available in high grades and precision grades. Positioning accuracies are 0.040 and 0.020 mm respectively. Rail lengths range from 75 to 200 mm.

Suitable for clean environments, the Type KR15 is constructed of stainless steel and uses AFF grease as standard.

The basic dynamic load rating of the LM Guide side for both grades of Type KR 15 is 1930 C (N); and basic static load rating is 3450 C0 (N).
