THK Introduces Type HMG - A Multi-Directional Guide

Schaumburg, IL (October 7, 2002) - THK's new Type HMG Multi-Directional Guide provides endless linear and curved motion for limitless flexibility in motion control.

Combining linear guides with rotary slides, the Type HMG can be configured to travel endlessly in straight, as well as curved directions. An example of a HMG system benefit is the reduced time and costs associated with straight corners and pallet changing. With the Type HMG it is possible to have one continuous motion curving around the corners eliminating the need for a pallet changer.

THK engineers can use your existing blueprint and travel requirements or work with you to develop a system based on your needs.
