THK Introduces new member of the KR LM Guide Actuator
family - Type CKR Actuator For Clean Room Applications
Schaumburg, IL - (June 28, 2006) Designed for clean room
environments, THK's new Type CKR Actuator offers low dust
generating and corrosion-resistant features.
For reduced dust generation, the Type CKR incorporates a
unique sealing mechanism that achieves cleanliness of Class
4 under the ISO14644-1: 1999, which is equivalent to class
10 under Fed. Std. 209E (internal suction, under down flow
environment). The CKR has externally mounted suction couplings
for particle collection. AFE grease is utilized to generate
an extremely low level of particles. To resist corrosion,
the LM rail and ball screw of the Type CKR are surface treated.
Based on the proven design as THK's Type KR LM Guide Actuator,
the Type CKR is compact, rigid and highly accurate. THK's
Type CKR Actuator offers positioning accuracies of 0.010mm,
overall rail lengths from 100mm to 940mm and stroke ranges
of 41.5mm to 808mm.
